About me

Dr Stacey Lavda

I am Stacey, a qualified and experienced Clinical Psychologist. Throughout my professional career, which spans 18+ years, I have worked in various NHS services and in academia, as a researcher and Lecturer of Clinical Psychology. I split my time between the NHS and independent practice. In my NHS role I work clinically within Urgent Care in mental health, and I am the Lead for Psychological Professions for the Acute Directorate within a mental health Trust.

I have developed Scope Psychology to offer a timely and tailored service to those who are struggling with their mental health or relationships, or wish to make positive changes in the way they respond and relate to themselves and others.

I engage in regular training as part of my Continued Professional Development (CPD) and receive on-going clinical supervision, as required by my professional registration. I am registered with the Information Commissions Office (ICO), will treat your data in accordance with GDPR and can provide my data protection policy on request.

I am an English – Greek psychologist, and having lived in both countries and raised bilingual, I am fluent in both languages.
